An accomplished business leader in the global enterprise software and healthcare IT industries with more than 20 years on the job, Karthik is a strong advocate for the innovative use of technology to derive greater efficiencies, reduce costs and higher profits.
As an eldercare thought leader also, he has been driving productivity agendas for eldercare delivery models across healthcare organisations globally, and seen to the expansion of Napier’s product vision to include eldercare solution across all formats of services delivery. Applying technology-enabled solutions for senior care providers offering nursing home, home care and activity-centre services, Napier today enables productivity and improved quality of care. A passionate advocate of mobile technology, he has underpinned all these solutions with a “mobile first” approach.
Across Asia, US and the Middle East, Karthik shares his vision for the evolving senior care landscape as speaker at major conferences and a regular contributor to ICT journals. He is a passionate about dementia care and education, and devotes his time and energy to charities and mentoring aspiring innovators in a local university. An industry veteran who has worked in global firms such as SAP and HP, he is also an entrepreneur and the founder of an EDB investee company. Karthik was awarded the ‘Spirit of Enterprise Award’ in 2007 for demonstrating exceptional self-reliance in the establishment and operation of a successful SME in Singapore.
Saurabh, who has been leading business operations for 18 years in his career so far, leads the drive by Napierites in India toward the adoption of world class standards, and as they continually strive to maintain Napier Healthcare Solutions’ status as a quality software organization that runs on global processes and yields consistent quality outcomes.
Rami (Mohammed Rawhi) Zayed Jaber leads the expansion of Napier Healthcare’s business in the Middle East & Africa, and aside from driving business development efforts, is in charge of sales of large, complex technology solution and service offerings to hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare service providers across the region.
Rami is a healthcare executive with a strong 15-year professional track record in setting up and running successful healthcare IT operations in the Middle East. Among his achievements are the creation of the AlFaisaliah Healthcare IT Business Unit, the formation of Refada Medical Tourism (a patient services company catering to medical tourists), and the establishment of management consulting firm Efada Information Technology Consulting (Jeddah).
Rami has a Master’s Degree of Science in Clinical Biochemistry from Griffith University, Australia, and a Bachelor Degree of Medical Technology from the Applied Science University, Jordan.
Sahel heads Consulting and Services, as well as the Global Support unit at Napier Healthcare. He sees customers through every stage (before, during and after implementation) of their projects, ensuring their systems meet requirements and deliver value from day one and continue to do so with continual enhancements. With more than 20 years of Asia Pacific experience in the Information Technology Industry, Sahel has held leadership roles in Operations, Consulting, Business Development, Sales Management and Services Delivery with globally recognized technology companies, including SAP Asia, Cap Gemini, Ariba, Sun Microsystems, Misys and HCL AXON.
Sahel has a wealth of implementation experience, particularly in SAP Industry Solution for Health (SAP IS-H), having implemented Healthcare Information Technology solutions across Singapore’s public and private hospitals. He holds a Master of Science in Business Systems Analysis and Design from The City University in United Kingdom.
Roger has devoted his more than two decades long career to helping many organizations across the Asia Pacific achieve operational excellence by leveraging IT solutions. Before joining Napier Healthcare Solutions, he had been based in China from where he served not just Chinese customers, but also multinational clients in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, South East Asia and Australia. Key appointments he assumed during his 12 years in China include: Managing Director running the regional and global HR Shared Services, Outsourcing and SaaS solutions businesses for CDP Group; Vice President and General Manager of HP China (leading the Applications and Outsourcing businesses), for which he doubled business volume while managing a portfolio in excess of US$200 million with a team of 120 Sales, Pre-Sales, Sales Operations and Marketing professionals; and, Managing Director at Bearingpoint Management Consulting in Greater China, where he helped generate sales momentum for the Life Sciences and several other industry verticals. Also, Roger was one of the earliest members of the leadership team at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Greater China as its Practice Leader for Technology Services, responsible for developing and building up its consulting practice. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Systems with Merit from the National University of Singapore.
Umashankar has served in multiple leadership roles for over 20 years with extensive knowledge of International business finance. In his previous role, he headed APJ consulting & services finance operations. He contributed to an acquisition and formation of a joint venture with a 50% stake in the business. He has wealth of experience in the healthcare sector and brings the financial rigour and discipline needed during the explosive growth phase of Napier’s business.
Umashankar is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary.
Leading Napier Healthcare Solutions’ marketing initiatives, Fang Yih is responsible for brand management, corporate communications, marketing program management, digital marketing and field marketing. He has 20 years of communications work in media and public relations, particularly covering the information and communication industry, during which time he headed a number of media properties, such as CIO Asia, MIS Asia, Computerworld Singapore and Computerworld Malaysia. His previous organizations include global media and events group IDG, and regional publishers Fairfax Business Media and Executive Networks Media. Fang Yih holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University.
