Mobile Healthcare
Modern day healthcare ecosystems consist of multiple healthcare stake holders (from doctors, to nurses, to administrators, to patients) constantly on the move and sharing/coordinating data and actions. With the proliferation of modern mobile devices and the ubiquitous availability of wireless networks, healthcare providers are increasingly deploying healthcare applications on these devices to provide real-time information at the point of care and to enhance the patient care experience.
Napier Healthcare has been working with mobile and telecommunication industry leaders such as Motorola Solutions and others in creating cutting edge mobile health solutions on a variety of mobile platforms including smart phones, tablets and other mobile telecommunication devices. Our mobile applications are designed to naturally extend Napier’s suite of hospital management and clinical solutions and are based on open healthcare industry standards. We support the major operating platforms including iOS, Android and Windows Phone and are able to seamlessly integrate with third party solutions.

Accelerate Patient Care
Healthcare organizations need to accelerate response times to provide quality care. Our mobile solutions present your providers and management staff with right information delivered at the right time.
Application Areas
Our mobile healthcare solutions are currently focused on the following key application areas:
Napier’s Electronic Mobile Care System (eMCS) enables healthcare providers to efficiently manage patient care while on the move anytime and anywhere with real – time access to patient clinical case notes viewing, appointment blocking and cancellation functions, diagnosis, medication information including vital symptoms, medical history, laboratory results and prescriptions, allergies, and other notes of advices and observations. Napier eMCS, while adding a new dimension to home care also caters to stakeholder emergency needs by facilitating telephonic encounter when a physical interaction with care receiver is not possible.
Mobile eMAR (Electronic Medication Administration Record)
Napier Mobile eMAR (Electronic Medication Administration Record) is designed to provide real-time mobile access to nurses for administering medications. Nurses can use the application on a ruggedized tablet device that also provides hardware integration features such as barcode scanning and bluetooth connectivity.
Using the mobile device to scan employee, patient wrist-band and medication barcodes, plus ensuring a double-checking mechanism with two nurses for the administering of medication, the application will ensure the 5 R’s (right patient, right medication, right time, right dose and right route) are followed.
The application will also provide real-time access to medication related knowledge bases and drug interaction information. It will give nurses the ability to view alerts and allergies, record vitals, view lab results and record medication related incidents.
Deliver patient care on the go
