R Jayachandran (Jaya) has had a span of more than three decades of building up companies successfully, some of which are now well recognised listed entities. His contribution to the growth and financial success of these market-leading companies have been significant. He played a key role in Olam International Ltd’s phenomenal growth from ‘being a one product one country’ company in 1989 to the multibillion-dollar global agricultural commodities giant it is today, with presence in over 60 countries. Until recently, he was the Non-Executive Chairman of Olam. Jaya served as Singapore’s (Non-resident) High Commissioner to Mauritius for 13 years, and stepped down end September 2021.
Jaya is a founding shareholder and director of the investment management firm Aquarius Group, as well as one of the founding shareholders of Redington India Ltd, the global supply chain solutions provider. His contribution to the growth of Redington has been significant. He is now the Non-Executive Director and Strategy Advisor to the Kewalram Chanrai Group of companies, having been its Executive Director for more than 30 years.
He is currently serving as Chairman of the Hindu Endowments Board, a statutory board in Singapore.

AS Thyagarajan is the CEO and Managing Director of Aquarius Investment Advisors Pte Ltd. A seasoned career banker with over 3 decades of experience in fund management and investment banking in India and globally, he was previously the country head of Corporate, Investment Banking and Treasury functions of Citibank and later Vice President in their New York Headquarters. He has a Masters degree in Science and is a Harvard Business School Alumnus.
Sridhar Krishnan is a management professional who has spent the last 4 decades of his career in leading businesses in the Textile and Agri-commodity sectors. He started his career in India working for two of the leading textile manufacturing companies and then in 1991 joined an agribusiness start-up Olam in London, before moving to Singapore in 1996. Sridhar, was a part of the initial founding team in Olam and in the last 25 years has played leading roles across Businesses, Geographies and Functions, growing the company from a start up to the successful multinational that it is today. He served as an Executive Director on the Board of Olam for 15 years and was also on the Board of the Singapore Commodity Exchange (SICOM), a subsidiary of the Singapore Stock Exchange. He retired from Olam in April 2016 as the Senior Managing Director & CEO for Australia, Asia and Americas. Sridhar is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Management Development Institute of Singapore [MDIS]
Mark Haynes Daniell is currently the Chairman of the Raffles Family Wealth Trust and The Cuscaden Group. He has also served as Non Executive and Independent Director of Olam International. Before that, he was the Managing Director of Bain & Company (Asia), Director—London and Paris at Wasserstein Parella, and President of K1 Ventures, Singapore.
Mark has experience in investment banking, strategy, mergers and acquisitions and corporate transformation. His career with Bain & Company spanned over 20 years.
Mark’s first book, “World of Risk: Next Generation Strategy for a Volatile Era”, published by John Wiley and Sons, was selected as a Sunday Times (London) Business Book of the Week and is available in multiple foreign language editions. His second book, “Strategy: A Step-by-Step Approach to the Development and Presentation of World Class Business Strategy” was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2004.
Mark holds a Diploma from The Philips Exeter Academy in 1973, a Diploma in French Studies from Universite de Paris IV (Sorbonne) in 1976, a Certificate in Political Studies from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, France in 1976, a Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College, USA (Phi Beta Kappa, Magna cum laude) in 1977, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oxford in 1979, a Juris Doctorate from the Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA in 1981.
Lau Ping Sum, Pearce, served as a Director of Ang Mo Kio Community Hospital from 1993 to 1999 and Chairman of the Medifund Committee of the hospital from 2001 to 2005. He was the Head of Computer Services in a statutory board and two local banks in Singapore from 1973 to 1996. He held the position of the Political Secretary to the Minister of Health between 1981 and 1985. He was a Member of Parliament from 1980 to 1996.
Mr. Lau served as General Manager of NTUC Link Pte Ltd., from 1997 to 2000 and is an Independent Director of Cortina Holdings Limited, Sunpower Group Ltd. and Huan Hsin Holdings Ltd. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors. Mr. Lau holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the Australian National University and a Diploma in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
Tirupathi Karthik has been the Chief Executive Officer of Napier Healthcare Solutions Pte Ltd since November 2012. A leader in the Healthcare IT space, Karthik has extensive business leadership experience across Asia, the Middle East and USA, particularly in the enterprise software space. He is a passionate advocate for the innovative use of technology that turns IT investments into competitive differentiators for their stakeholders rather than using IT as a pure cost containment initiative.
In various hospital implementations, he has been championing the use of Mobility as a pervasive information delivery channel. His vision led to the use of the mFirst approach with the infusion of HTML5 and Apple’s mobility products across the Napier platform. Napier’s leadership in the global marketplace continues to gather momentum on the back of one of the most modern implementation of such a technology stack.
As an Eldercare thought leader, he has been driving productivity agendas for aged care models globally and seen to the expansion of Napier’s product vision to include elderly care services delivery. Applying technology-enabled solutions for senior care providers offering nursing home, home care and activity-centre services, Napier today enables productivity and improved quality of care.
Before joining Napier, he served with MphasiS, an HP company as Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific & Japan including India. His other successful stints include regional leadership roles with companies such as SAP and Covisint (GM, Ford & DCX joint venture). As an entrepreneur, he was the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Nihongo Bashi, an investee company of Economic Development Board, Singapore. Karthik is a winner of the 2007 ‘Spirit of Enterprise Award’, given to honour self-reliant entrepreneurs, starting and operating small and medium-sized businesses in Singapore.
Sahel Mattar heads Strategic Initiatives and Customer Care initiatives at Napier. In this role he focuses on making Napier’s services offerings more competitive whilst transforming our capabilities to be delivered by partners. Sahel will continue to lead the customer support organization as it pursues significant Jeeva upgrade revenues. With more than 20 years of Asia Pacific experience in the Information Technology Industry, Sahel has held leadership roles in Operations, Consulting, Business Development, Sales Management and Services Delivery with globally recognized technology companies, including SAP Asia, Cap Gemini, Ariba, Sun Microsystems, Misys and HCL AXON.
Sahel has a wealth of implementation experience, particularly in SAP Industry Solution for Health (SAP IS-H), having implemented Healthcare Information Technology solutions across Singapore’s public and private hospitals. He holds a Master of Science in Business Systems Analysis and Design from The City University in United Kingdom.
As the CSO leader, Bernard leads and drives projects, and the delivery of consulting and implementation services globally for Napier. He has led numerous successful projects throughout his career for major clients of global technology companies such as HP, Oracle, NCR and Avaya. These customers were from the wide range of industries and sectors, including financial services, telecommunications and retail. In the last 26 years, Bernard has racked up an impressive tally of successful projects and built up strong services businesses. He now brings his senior management expertise, business savvy and wealth of systems integration experience to bear on Napier’s efforts to deliver patient-centric solutions to the world’s healthcare providers.
Bernard has a Masters degree in Computer Studies (Artificial Intelligence) from the University of Essex, UK, and a Diploma in Programming and Systems Analysis from the Japan-Singapore Institute of Software Technology. He is also the author of ‘How to Rescue Failing Software Projects: Practical Proven Methods That Work’, a resource book providing approaches and action plans for saving software projects headed toward almost certain death.
Umashankar has served in multiple leadership roles for over 20 years with extensive knowledge of International business finance. In his previous role, he headed APJ consulting & services finance operations. He contributed to an acquisition and formation of a joint venture with a 50% stake in the business. He has wealth of experience in the healthcare sector and brings the financial rigour and discipline needed during the explosive growth phase of Napier’s business.
Umashankar is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary.
Reena Emmanuel heads Human Resources including Recruitment, Talent Management, employee Engagement, Compensation and Benefits and Employee relations for Napier, India. She specializes in competency development, career frameworks, Organizational development and Leadership development.
Reena comes with over 18 years of experience in Human Resources with a proven track record of driving HR initiatives that improve processes, performance and employee engagement.
Prior to Joining Napier, Reena has worked with MedGenome, AstraZeneca, Novozymes, Wipro, Sapient and GE.
Devi is responsible for improving the operational efficiency of the organization across its various functions through process improvements, automation and innovation with product stability, security and client satisfaction being the key areas of focus.
She brings a wealth of experience having worked with Virtusa, Cognizant, EDS and TCS in many frontline delivery as well as operational roles.
Devi holds a Master of Business Administration from Anna University, Chennai and a Bachelor of Engineering from Government College of Engineering. Coimbatore.
Anil is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur, having led product companies from startup phase to growth and acquisitions. As Founder & CEO of SmartRx until it was acquired recently, he saw to the crafting of innovative award-winning care management products that enabled hospitals and health insurance companies to better help their patients and clients manage their health conditions. Prior to that, Anil was Vice President of US operations of Realcom Inc, a Japan based public company focused on knowledge and content management.
He had also previously co-founded leading enterprise content management solutions company, AskMe Corp in Seattle, WA, which later merged with Realcom Inc. At AskMe Corp, he led the enterprise software product from idea to building the product and selling it to Fortune 500 companies such as Proctor & Gamble, Boeing, Intel, Novartis, CCH and others. Anil started his career at Siemens and Microsoft, where he worked on the development of the Windows 2000 family of products as senior engineer.
Anil holds a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Mysore University, and Master’s degree in Management from Yale University.
Rami (Mohammed Rawhi) Zayed Jaber leads the expansion of Napier Healthcare’s business in the Middle East & Africa, and aside from driving business development efforts, is in charge of sales of large, complex technology solution and service offerings to hospitals, nursing homes and healthcare service providers across the region.
Rami is a healthcare executive with a strong 15-year professional track record in setting up and running successful healthcare IT operations in the Middle East. Among his achievements are the creation of the AlFaisaliah Healthcare IT Business Unit, the formation of Refada Medical Tourism (a patient services company catering to medical tourists), and the establishment of management consulting firm Efada Information Technology Consulting (Jeddah).
Rami has a Master’s Degree of Science in Clinical Biochemistry from Griffith University, Australia, and a Bachelor Degree of Medical Technology from the Applied Science University, Jordan.

Eric leads product marketing at Napier Healthcare. He is a highly accomplished marketer with over 25 years of marketing experience covering product marketing, marketing management, branding, channel management, channel marketing, growth strategy, customer engagement and customer experience. At Napier, he will be leveraging his vast marketing experience to create clear market positioning and value proposition for Napier’s award winning healthcare solutions. He will ensure Napier’s product-market fit, engage customers on product feedback and requirements, create go-to-market plan and deploy marketing programs to enhance customer engagement and customer experience. Championing the customers’ voice within Napier and positioning Napier as the preferred healthcare solutions provider will be his top focus.
Eric has a Bachelor of Mass Communications degree from University Science of Malaysia. He is regular public speaker in marketing conferences and was an industry advisor to University Science of Malaysia, Taylors’ University and UPSI. Prior to joining Napier, he was an award winning marketer at IBM covering Asia Pacific, Asean and country roles.
Vimala’ s professional experience spans over a decade as an Advocate & Solicitor, duly admitted to the High Court of Malaya, with specialisation in high growth sectors such as the information technology (IT), Information technology enabled services (ITES) especially on tele communication, cyber security and law, e-commerce, Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain. Vimala is also experienced on advising corporate and business clients on cross-border and domestic legal transactions, complex joint ventures, strategic tie-ups, foreign inward and outbound investment.

His expertise spans Legal, Government and Health markets developing products encompassing technologies like SaaS, IaaS, Collaboration and Middleware. He previously worked for Fuji Xerox Australia, as Head of Product Management, CTO at Access Digital a lean SaaS startup and Practice Manager for SingTel Optus Business developing disruptive innovative products and services.
Michael studied Computer Science and Marketing at University of Technology, Sydney and is currently undertaking an MBA.
